I really do feel for you and hope that things get better for you my friend. And I do agree its a crazy world for all of us non coustodial parents. It's just not fair for us it seems that they get to make all of the dis. yea sure the F.O.C. says we have half of the dis. but we really dont that is just a big comon and they know it it isnt inforced for the coust. parent to get any feed back from the other so called parent . Yea if they want to call us a parent. the way we get treated its just like we arent there . we should get something going to make the F.O.C. have a nasy thorne in there side . And Have it to where we know where the support money goes and we would have say how the money suppose to be spent . example Health care, clothes, food. But I know this will be along hall for this to happen. Prob. not by along shot !! SummerBaby 1962

Hi there..I am adding you as a freind..but I think I added you once before..( forgive me)ssion..bipolar same illness different names( think them Phyciatrists like to screw with your minds on occassions with these different names..As you may have gathered, I am from Canada..( lloking at the map..we are only inches apart..( hmm)In 1994..when I landed in the Phyc Center..I was like a guinea pig..the Phyciatrist tried me on several different drugs..and monitored me and what my reactions were..( sure wish they had it on video camera..s I could watch myself..on these different drugs..I once was put on Hallidol.( powerful drug) twisted my body into the weirdest ways and I could not move with it..scared the bejesus out of me..and my family.,.Then I was put on Lithiumn..1200mg a day..and had to go for blood levels all of the time..( every week to begin with and then...eventually every 2 weeks, then every month..I was on this drug for 5yrs..4yrs too long..I gained so much weight with this damn mineral..1999..I darn near died as my liver and kidney's started shutting down..I was rushed to Emergency..and a sub-Phyc..came to see me..and was totally shocked as too why I was placed on Lithiumn for so many years..Plus when they put me on LasiX..liquid form through an IV..I lost 20 lbs within 24hrs..wow I may as well have been strapped down to the toilet seat..( works far better then any fast losing weight program..anyways..This sub-Phyc..slowly weaned me off of Lithiumn and put me on Deprival( Epival)

Continued..and this drug has worked fantastically for me..I have slipped into Manic states..again but never in the severity I did when I was on the Lithiumn..I look forward to hearing back from you..either through the group or individually..add me in MSN Messenger if you like..I am Ocean_mist45
