MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
Happy Valentine's Day
A former friend of mine has Hypermobile Syndrome and she really had a hard time but she was very educated about it and has a great physical therapist working with her to help train her muscles to work differently. Hopefully you can live as healthy as possible desite this sydrome
Welcome and Thank you!
I have a relative with MS and would like to understand more about it.
I have a first degree relative with celiac and have just received the results of my DNA test for celiac done through Kimball Genetics (www.kimballgenetics.com) which was positive for celiac. A doctor's order was not required, so I had this test done on my own. Now I find that all first degree relatives are to be tested for celiac. jean
I didn't know there was such a thing as a hypermobile syndrome. My first encounter with hypermobility was when my left knee went out of place when I was jumping rope at four years old. Later the right knee dislocated. Then I had a fall at work, and the facets in my spine slipped out of place. I was in my 40s when a doctor used the term hypermobility. As a child, I would sit in positions no one else could do. I know of no treatment for it other than to be careful not to dislocate one's parts. I walk very slowly. jean
