Hello Susan It's great to hear from you. happy New Year to you as well. it's good to hear things are going well and you deserve the best. All is good here though I seen to have eaten a little to much over Xmas and put on a few pounds but a little exercise will take care of that plus it's been up in the 40 degrees here.40c or 108F the heat also hepls with the weight . Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was diagnosed three years ago although I'm pretty sure I've had it for quite a while. I have the pain...primarily hands, ankles, knees...but what I have the most difficulty with is the fatique.
Treatments
- Enbrel Working / Worked
- Seems to work. I've been on it about a year and a half. I feel bad a lot, so I really can't tell.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- No mouth sores, although my hair started falling out in the last few months, when I went through a spell of not taking it.
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Again, same as Enbrel. I really can't tell. I still have pain probably not as much as I could have, but I'm sick a lot and can't seem to get over that part.
Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I've been exhausted and sick (flu-like) for years. I was diagnosed with RA, but it doesn't really account for my complete exhaustion. Don't know if its CFS, but I think it might be.
Treatments
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- helps relax me for sleep, but my sleep pattern has changed so much in the last year. I'm staying up most of the night and going to bed at dawn. An extra Klonopin sometimes helps.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- Think this helps with my depression.
- Biofeedback Working / Worked
- Learned the technique some years back. Also yoga...relax each area of your body. Helps me sleep.
Open Alcoholism
I was sober for 17 years, then started drinking "a little wine"...then a little more..then I couldn't remember what happened the night before or conversations my husband said we had. Sober now for only 5 days but feeling better.

- I worked it and it seemed to help.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- I went and it seemed to help
- Cold Turkey Too Soon to Tell
- That's me right now....hope it works.
- Sleep Working / Worked
- helps sometimes when I think I can't stand it anymore
- Willpower Too Soon to Tell
- I'm pretty strong....I hope this works.
