Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my mom last Monday. She had collapsed at her home 1 week before that. I had attempted CPR until the rescue arrived. They shocked her 3 times. She was at the hospital 1 week. Actually she was conscious for a couple of days. She couldn't talk due to the ventilator. Then on Monday morning early she took a turn for the worst. She passed over at 11:48 a.m. This is so hard for my brothers, sister and especially my dad. They were married almost 57 years.

Hello. The past 8 months I have been pretty much a full time caregiver for my dad. My mom passed away 8 months ago. He lives with my husband and me. I also have a full time and a part time job outside of the home. My 2 kids are on their own. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I get help from my oldest brother sometimes but I feel like my other brother and sister could at least offer to help me but it seems like they don't want to help. Sometimes I feel al alone. My dad is easy to care for.
