`ello ;) I have climbed outta the pit! About feckin` time :O Crossed with the med changeover I think I was depressed with the 40th was looming.. Now I am 40! n everything is much better :D ..Well.. That n I have been treated like a queen for about a week :))
I lost talky ability for a while when changing meds.. I think its coming back :))

Hi Hallam. I hope you had a wonderful time with the family in France. My husband is holding his own, but is still struggling with anxiety. Unfortunately, the job is not helping, there is just too much stress.I feel terrible for him. The girls are well, and everything else is good. Enjoy the weekend. ~Hugs~

Good morning Hallam. I hope you are well. I am doing quite good at the moment. Found out that I have a hypothyroid and my metabolism is shot, but other than that Ia am doing well. The lithium has done wonders for me mentally, but not without the cost of some uncomfortable side effects. Oh well, it's always something. I've been busy with my oldest as she prepares for her wedding in October. It's been fun, but a little hectic; therefore bringing on the stress. :( It's hard. I hope your family is well. ~Hugs~ Nectar.

Close Bipolar Disorder
Have had a number of episodes since my teens (20 years ago) - attempted suicide, hospitalization, drug induced psychosis (cannabis), major depression - have BP and OCD Grew up with my mother, who has BP, and now no longer takes her meds. She's up all the time and is quite a handful. Anyway, thanks for reading

- Depakote Working / Worked
- Seems to be working a treat. No real sides as yet...is it too good to be true ? Yes, probably! We shall wait and see....
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- Yep, it was OK. I took 80mg's I think..whatever the top dose is anyway. Inferior to Setraline IMHO. I remember the dry mouth and anorgasma the most
- Risperdal Not Working
- Moved to this from Olanzapine as I was putting too much weight on. Not sure on the dose. It made me really edgy and I discontinued within a couple of months. I took this for OCD BTW
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- I've taken this on and off for a long while..the best anti-psychotic I have taken for side effects..still quite *slow* in the mornings. A little emotionally numb as well. Only on 50mg's (and would like to keep it that way)
- Zyprexa Working / Worked
- It did the job when I was really low. However, I BALLOONED on it. It's like a hunger switch is permanently switched on. You have been warned!! Again, this was for OCD

- Chills you out, but takes a lot of organising - and I don't live near a pool. Great as a stress re leaver though, and less likely to leave you with injuries.

- Good, but I struggle when the weather is bad. No injuries as yet cyclling, but I hate the comments you get from muppets in cars and on the street as you cycle past sometimes.

Open Personality Disorders
Grew up with mother with a bipolar w/scizo affective. Rarely saw father. No emmotional support. Youner sister. Major suicide attempts in teens (Organ failure and all that). Now nearly 40. In the last 5 years I've had OCD, Major Depression. Last two years diagnosed with Bipolar. On many meds. Dr is now leaning towards a diagnosis of BPD. Read some stuff...feel pretty low about it. That's about it.
