About Me
I never know what to say on these things. I am a 28 year old married women expecting her first child in December. We struggled for a year to get pregnant and our 2nd clomid/IUI finally did the trick. I have met some wonderful people on here and look forward to meeting more!

Interests
Before Pregnancy: Bars, going to Happy Hours, eating bad, avoiding the gym at all cost and spending money on expensive clothes. During Pregnancy: Finding ways to cure heartbrun, peeing, exercising 3X a week, eating 5 meals a day, worrying about money when the baby comes, and talking about this amazing life living inside of me with anyone who will listen.

We are doing pretty good. I am finally trying to get him on a schedule to help things run smoother. DH is so great about helping out at night and in the eveings when he is home from work. He is truly a miracle. I look at him and I am amazed that God gave us this great gift.

Close Infertility
Been TTC for almost a year now. I am under the care of an RE who told me if I did not get pregnant I can have his car. I made him note it in my file. I am still waiting......
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- First IUI failed. 2nd IUI + 100mg of clomid worked. I am in shock.
- Basal Thermometer Too Soon to Tell
- First month actually. My OB/GYN told me to temp for 2 months and come back and see him in January. It has taken some gettting used to.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- Up to 100mg per cycle.....I did produce mulitple follies with it.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- On top of my pre-natal I am taking an extra dose of Folic.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Ovadril did make me ovualte...
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Did not hurt and I had no blockage, everything looked good,
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Not Working
- Well, they have not worked so far. I am not going to use them this time since I am temping. Also I am running out of money between that and the HPT's I buy by the truck load every month
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Aside from the absolute mess, it has really taken away all my AF signs. No back pain this cycle but REALLY sore bbs.
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
Got the elusive BFP after 4 rounds of Clomid, 2 IUI's and a year of trying. Glad to be here and a little scared......
Open Pregnancy
I am almost 9 weeks along with my first child. I am nervous as this is my first child was was concieved through fertility treatments. I want to try to maintain a sense of normalacy about this.
