Close Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Hi, I'm MBK, and I have had ocd since I was 7 yrs. old, I am now 27 yrs. old. My ocd became severe when I was 19. I also started having severe panic attacks also. They were able to get the panic attacks under control, in about 2 wks.Since the end of 1999, I have been to numerous doctors, and on every ssri out there, with no relief. They also tried Risperdal, Zyprexa, Geodan, Seroquel, and Abilify, but I had very bad reactions to all of them.Was wondering if anyone has heard of gamma knife sur.

Treatments

Anafranil Not Working

Helped anxiety, but not ocd,same with the other ssri's.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Working / Worked

Tried several times, but did'nt work because anxiety was so high

Emotions Anonymous (EA) Working / Worked

Never tried this.

Lexapro Somewhat Helpful

Am not on it anymore, but out of allof the ssri's, helped a little.

Luvox Not Working

Same as with the other ssri's, never helped the ocd.

Paxil Not Working

Did not help ocd.

Seroquel Not Working

Caused bad side affects, incoherent, could'nt think straight

Zoloft Not Working

Did not help ocd.
