Hi everyone! I work in a library and of course I love to read. I'm married to a great guy who's sort of a historian(who's depressed 90% of the time)and have a 25 year old son who's into Journalism. I had my BPS on January 15th, 2008. Yay!

I don't love exercise, I'm the indoor type. I love to eat and watch tv and be a general couch potato. But I'll have to give up all those constructive things now to be thin, georgous, but welllll at 58 not exactly toned after my surgery :)

Close Asperger Syndrome
I have a son who is 25 and has never had a friend, has gone through special ed.all through school. Everyone suspects he has aspergers but I can't find anyone to diagnose it. It's taken him 6 years to get throught 2 year junior college (but he did it!) and can't go any further because he can't do algebra II. (no deductive logic in him at all)He's a wonderful guy but can't get a job as he's just a little socially odd. Says things at the wrong time. Anyone know where I can get help or diagnosis?

Open Gastric Bypass Surgery
Hi everyone, I'm Heidi. Well, I'm 100 lbs overweight, I'm getting older and I hurt, everywhere all the time. I'm going to get the bypass in January and I'm a little scared. I think more the psychological effects scare me because I'm a stress eater. did anyone have any psychological problems, like anxiety attacks or, well it just seems that it's got to be a jolt but maybe one is so taken up with following all the rules you don't have time to be upset. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have a crushed disc in my neck and lower back, but am mobile and I take pain killers (codeine) which work for mostof it. I need my knees operated on in a minor way but I'm a little addicted to the pain meds.
