    • About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids. I have a 9 year old boy, 5 year old twin boys, and two 4 year old girls. We adopted the oldest boy the twin boys and one of the girls last June 2007. the other 4 year old is our biological daughter. All 4 of the adopted children have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. We have had the kids now for a year, we've been through alot of challenges some almost too diffiucult to handle, but we've made it none the less. My family and I are evangelical christians. We are very passionate about loving the Lord and very proud as well.It is a large part of our lives. We are usually really really busy with the kids and when I do have free time I love to scrapbook!! it's my one escape from life. It reminds me why i'm a mom when i see those wonderfull pictures. I enjoy shopping when i can and spending any time with my husband as possible. My husband is a Veterenarian in the small town we live in, so between his oncall schedule and the long hours we dont get alot of time for us. He is an amazing daddy and a great husband. I'm a lucky lady!! I just sent 3 of my 5 kids to kindergarten this year and one into 3rd grade. My youngest will be going to preschool 2 half days a week. I'm not sure what i'll do with my time, but i'm sure i'll find something!!! hahaha

Hello Angie7, I have been on Estraderm 0.05mg since July 27th,2004 with NO problems. I feel great on it. I was told this is a bioidentical hormone treatment, made with yams. I am suppose to change it 2x a week but change it only once a week. Mine worked right off from the start. I did tried the vivelle dot for a few days and had terrible symptoms and switched back and got back to normal. I do not plan on switching again since this makes me feel great even better before the surgery! I have a friend who is using the pill form and she said she feels fine and one who is using the vivelle dot with some symptoms but won't change. If I was having any symptoms I would try to find one which would make me feel good. I hope you can find something to make you feel great. I know everybody is different. Take care, MASHlover

    • Close Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

We adopted the kids in june of 07. The 3 boys have been diagnosed with FAS and two boys with ADHD. The youngest girl has not been diagnosed yet, but we feel it's just a matter of time before they diagnose her. They are a part of my husbands extended family. We are happy with the decision we have made to take these children in, But i must admit i feel overwhelmed. I went from mom of 1 girl with no special needs to a mom of 5 with 4 special needs kids.

    • Close Acne

I've had severe cystic acne for 19years, it started when i was 11. My entire body has been affected by acne. I did every otc med i could find, saw a dermatologist for many years when i was in my late teens and early 20's i've tried every prescription medication from tetracycline to accutane and every cream out there. My acne got less after 3 courses of accutane but it has never gone away. I get cysts from my head to my toes literally. I also have a diagnosis of PCOS which makes it worse

took 3 courses to see any improvment side effects were really bad! My hair fell out, my skin was extremly dry, i had nose bleeds every day, my lips cracked and bled, My eyes hurt, my skin looked like it was falling off. I hated all the side effects, but the results were decent when i was done.
