I have cirrohsis of the liver. NASH Next step will be a transplant. Went through a long process as I knew there was something wrong, but the Dr's I was working with would just sent me home and told me to put my feet up. After leaving that health care group, I went to independent Dr's who have helped me alot.
I am a 46 year old, married woman. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 16 years ago. Since we had an active family, I never let it stop me. Then acouple years ago, I was diagnosed with cirrohsis of the liver, NASH (non alcohol related) and am currently on the transplant waiting list. Do not know what caused the NASH, maybe all the pain meds I use to take. I'm in constant pain, but do not take anything for it as I am on so many meds for the liver. Just try to keep a positive attitude and smile.
I had my liver transplant in February 2009, and am looking forward to learning from others who have shared the same experience.
