  Well, you said you hate sex and have negative feelings about yourself so I was wondering if the only sexual abuse situation you had experienced was with your ex and if those feelings started after the rape. I was also wondering what you get out of the relationship with your current boyfriend. Companionship? Support? Don't get me wrong I am still dealing with unfreezing myself sexually because of one rape but I don't hate sex and I have never been very self-confident about my body or that area of my life either. I have lived and could live without sex the rest of my life very happily but what I don't like is the rapist having made me avoid sex. It should be my choice. It should be about what YOU want.

  I am getting from your post, that it was your X that raped you? I too was raped, by strangers, thats another story. But I was also in a relationship once, where my BF came home drunk as hell, and I didnt want to have sex, and he forced me, that too is rape. Anytime you dont want to, or say no, whether it is a stranger, friend, boyfriend, anyone... it is rape. I'm so sorry they dont believe you, if thats the case. Perhaps the believe you, but there isnt enough evidece to prosecute.?? Either way, I know it is a huge let down for you, You know your not lying, and we know your not lying, and HE knows your not lying, and you did your best, and at least you tried and did the right thing. You should be proud of yourself, just work on healing now, and living a good life... thats the best revenge. Hugs XXXXX
