I have SLE, diagnosed in '97. I am a single mom of 2 beautiful children. Treatments
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- thought of this as a wonder drug. After the birth of my daughter in '02, I started back on it, and it didn't work anymore. Does this happen to others?
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Keeps the butterfly rash away. Does not help pain whatsoever, nothing seems to....
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with pericarditis, keeps my fingers open, and helps me be able to walk. However, been on it for 4 yrs and haven't gained weight, don't know why. not even moon face!

Open Fibromyalgia
I was 1st diagnosed with lupus, then fibro. Prob had both for long time before. Can't tell difference between which is effecting me sometimes.
Treatments
- Acupuncture Considering
- always considering, but can't afford it....would LOVE to try it. anyone else it works for?
- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- Tried didn't work I take chlorzoxazone 3-4x a day. Sometimes that works, but not enough. What else is there?? Neurontin, forget it, Ultram same thing...
- Effexor Not Working
- Didn't work see cyclobenzabrine. I never get side effects either, its weird, dont understand..
- Elavil Working / Worked
- Took this since 2000? started at 25mg until 6 months ago at 150mg. Was prescribed for prevent migraines, didn't work, and def didn;t help keep any pain away
- Heat Working / Worked
- This definitely helps sometimes on my back, but usually have to be on it for a couple days
- Morphine Considering
- I've had this in the hospital after surgeries, and I HATE it, and can't wait to get percocet. I beg to get off of it, because it doesnt work half as good as perc. how is this prescribed, pill?
- Neurontin Not Working
- didn't work at all
- Ultram Not Working
- nothing, didn't work
