I am just getting over a small flair but i also had the flu bug so I did not know what hurt the worst. Other than that I am doing fine no meds to take for it I just have heart med to take as i have had open heart surgery due to the lupus they think .

In Feb. 2007. My nose started getting red. I went to a dermatologist and she said that I was sunburn, which I knew could not possible. So I made another appointment with another dermatologist and she looked at me and suggested that she do a biopsy and run some test for lupus because she was sure that was what was wrong because of the butterfly rash. The test came back positive. So I began treatment . I was put on Plaquenil , which worked fine .
Treatments
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Working but slowly
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Good for almost 7 years. No side effects.
