Our first ultrasound is today and I am just so excited!  I took an HPT yesterday morning, just in case.  I was too scared to take one before my beta so I had one in the drawer.  It turned positive immediately and was SO dark.  It was very reassuring.

Morning sickness is coming on strong today.  Had a few bad moments and managed to close my office door.  Love those crackers!

I also called my insurance company to find out what our ob/gyn options were.  I was worried we would be limited to the hospital in which my primary care physician is located, but we are not which is super exciting.  Time to start interviewing facilities! It is about time I got some good news for that damn company!

We invited my mom, step dad and sister to dinner last night to tell them.  Amazingly they all showed.   My mother had totally figured it out and she screamed.  They were super excited for us.  My sister, whose focus in college is women’s reproduction, started asking all the questions so we eventually told them that we did IVF, but not why.  I am really hoping we did not make a mistake.
