Okay, so I have had this goal to hold a plank for two minutes for about 4 months now and as you all saw, it was STUCK at 80% FOREVER. I would make it for 1 minute 40 seconds and then poop out. I seriously could NOT go longer than that. Well TODAY.... I did it!! For the whole two minutes!!!
WOO HOO!!!!
Omg I almost started jumping up and down and screaming out in joy right in the middle of the gym but I figured ppl would probably look at me weird. LOL ![]()
So here is my workout from today...
Saturday's Exercise DAY #96 in 2008!!
Treadmill:
3 miles total broken into...
2 laps (.50 miles) @ 6.0 speed (10 minute/mile pace)
6 laps (1.50 miles) @ 6.5 speed (9:13 mile pace)
4 laps (1 mile) @ 7.0 speed (8:34 mile/pace)![]()
It took me 28 minutes and 22 seconds
A good, solid, run!
and then I warmed down 1 lap (.25 mile) walking @ 3.7 speed
Bench press:
I did the bar plus 2.5 lbs on both sides (3 rounds of 10)
Then I did just the bar (1 round of 10)
HELD A PLANK FOR TWO MINUTES!!!!

P.S. I drank a total of 82.4 ounces of water NOT including the water I drank during my workout, which was an additional 47.4 ounces! Yay!!

OMG-Don't worry about the weigh in you know you're headed in the right direction no matter what the scale thinks! But GOOD LUCK!! I'll jump up and down with you WOO-HOO!!!

You are going to do just fine! I read somewhere that it is good to eat more calories than your body is used to once in a while to trick your body and so you don't plateau, so I'm sure you will see a loss. Congrats on holding the plank for 2 min.! I am really proud of you:)

Your run was amazing! And great job on increasing you water, it's a hard habit to get into, especially when all that water makes your bladder feel tiny haha. I'm so excited and inspired that you're almost to 100 DAYS of exercise!!! Truely amazing, good luck today!
