I am very happy to have an old DS friend back on here. Ashlyellen is her screenname and she is a doll. I am so proud of her for getting back on track and re-joining the group. Let's welcome her with open arms and lots of support.
My back is still bothering me. I am pretty sure that I pinched a nerve, which means that I NEED to not run for a while while it heals.
In the meantime, I am still going to work out just not running. Elliptical, weight lifting, pool here I come!!![]()
I just wanted tell all of my friends great job with sticking with this weight loss/life change fight. It is not easy and sometimes not fun at ALL, but the important part is that in the end, we are taking care of our bodies and taking control of our lives by making those daily choices day after day. You guys are amazing and should be totally proud of your success and progress.

I am happy to report that yesterday was week #6 of maintaining. I weighed in at 137 and I am feeling really great about my maintaining streak. It can be challenging, but I am learning to find that balance that my body needs in order to maintain.

So speaking of yummy treats, no fro yo for almost 7 days! Kick that craving's butt girl! Take care of your back, are you icing or heating it? That was really the best thing I could do when I injured my back, besides resting it. I hope you had a happy monday love. I love you!

I knew you would figure out the maintaining thing- what a great feeling to feel in control again. So, you challenged yourself to a week with no frozen yogurt-IMPRESSIVE!! Are you going to celebrate by treating yourself??? Yum. Only one place in all Des MOines has frozen yogurt. I miss that when I lived in Tempe AZ there was a place on every corner- I swear! Well, sounds like ya got a game plan to rest your back-I am assuming the eliptical and other stuff does not make it hurt, right?? Well, I am SO happy for you- you are in a great place! Love and hugs!
