Happiness @ my weigh-in! Mood
Sunday, July 13, 2008 | A Positive story

I am back down to 138 as of this morning Laughing and I am feeling really good about that.  YAAAY! I haven't done my "stats" in a while, so here it is for those who don't know my starting and ending stats:

Starting weight= 211.2 (Mid-October '07)

By Jan 1st '08 I weighed 198.0

Since January, I have lost an additional 60 poundsLaughing

Current weight= 138.0

Total weight lost= 73.2 poundsLaughing

It is good for me to see how far I have come so I don't screw it up for myself.  Sometimes when I look in the mirror and bitch in my head about how I look Surprised I think to myself "Lisa, shut up!! Go and try on those Torrid jeans that you started in, or even those work slacks.  Seriously Lisa, shut your mouth and try them on."  And THEN it becomes apparent to how far I have come Surprised hehe  It's all about attitude and mindset for me.Wink

I didn't work out yesterday, my body felt like it got run over by a tour bus AND my ass couldn't wake up out of bed early before work.  So I was like screw that, my body OBVIOUSLY is in pain for a reason.  Today I am going to the gym, and I will let you know how my debut back at the gym goes! Stairmaster here I come!!hehe Wink

dang .. 2 more pounds to add to what I have to do to get caught up to you!

You are right though, have to remember where you were at just not so long ago ... makes those crazy thoughts that your mind plays on you fade away. :)

I think you have completed that first goal though, eh?

    Kudos! You are amazing!

NICE GOING, my friend!! Seeing your stats has made me realize how important it is to keep those numbers, not that numbers are what matters in the end, but if anything, they are a way to measure and look at how amazing it is to compare and think of how far you've come, indeed!! I am SO very proud of you. Your dedication, your constant self-checks (so as not to take for granted these things we accomplish) and your positiveness are a GREAT example.
Rock that stairmaster at the gym --you still do that Himalayan trek? ; )
    HUGS!
