Tomorrow is THE DAY!! Mood
Saturday, June 21, 2008 | A Happy story

Tomorrow is the day! I can officially start up the exercise again! LaughingYIPPIEE!!!!! I am going to the gym in the morning before work because I have a HUGE day tomorrow.  I work at the restaurant and then I go straight to a private swim lesson and then straight to babysitting.  So I will need to pack lots of food for my day! I am just SO excited to get back into the gymLaughing!!!

So I have been tossing around the idea (in my head) of making a goal to do 40 workouts in July.  That would be the equivalent to 10 a week, which is way hard but I know that by the end of the month, I will have 1) made up for lost workouts due to my pneumonia, 2)get in SUPER shape, and 3) have to focus my exercise in different forms (ex: swimming, running, weights, elliptical, etc).  So although it is a freaking crazy idea, I kind of like it.  And I have always found that the things we think are impossible are usually more attainable then we think.  But I wanted to get your ideas about it...Undecided

My food was GREAT today! I was craving that frozen yogurt again Sealedand I SO almost went and got some but then I pulled out the willpower inside me and had a smartones dessert and oreo bar instead.  Yay for relying on willpower!

Hmmmm...that seems like a tough goal but if anyone can do it it's you. I'll support you even if I think you're nutty and I do think you're nuts. What will you do next teach yourself to fly? I'm pretty sure you could do it. YIPPIE for tomorrow! I am so glad you're getting back to normal. Great job honing the willpower and resisting the fro-yo! And have a great day tomorrow try finding some time to sit at some point. Love ya lots! Goodnight.

Well, I think you may want to take it easy on the workouts since you did relapse, I think 40 might be pushing it, but you are the one that knows your body, so that's your decision. Just make sure you are very careful and listen to your body. You don't want to relapse for the third time and push back your progress. Anyway, congrats on getting to this day, I know you are so excited! I'll be looking forward to reading about your big day. Great job resisting the frozen yogurt! Have a great day today!

I so admire your strength and eagerness! Let me just borrow 10% of it and I think that will last me for months! I realized that when I write to you I use a lot of exclamation marks - hahaha! Because I am so happy for you! I know that you can do it - 40 workouts in July! That sounds like a great goal. I would do 30 workouts because at least that is just 1 workout a day everyday and room for 1 day of rest! But that is just me. You are way stronger than I am! I am planning to get up at 5:00 AM on Monday and get back to my morning workouts because that is the only way I workout. Once I get out of work I don't want to workout, so I need to do what is working for me. Plus it felt so great, so I don't know why I stopped. Well, anyway good luck with your workout tomorrow and I will be here supporting you all the way through!

Yay for no yogurt!!!!!!!! I've got mixed feelings about the 40 workouts in July idea. If you hadn't just been violently sick for 2 weeks I'd say go for it but you may need to take it slower for a little while. Plus if you set a goal for 40 in a month and your body isn't ready for it you might not achieve the goal. For me if I don't make goals I get all down on myself and its counter productive. If you feel you can do it though and not overstress your body then I say go for it! No one knows what you feel up to better than yourself. :-)
