So I have officially completed my goal of ten workouts this week!
Last night (workout #9) was two trips up and down that huge hill by my house. The total mileage for workout #9 was 2 miles.
This morning when I was running that seven mile loop it was SCORCHING HOT outside.
It was only 7:30 am, but we are in the middle of some random heat wave and so it was nearly 80 degrees outside @ 7:30 am! Gross! The heat made it harder to keep the pace going, but I ran through it with a smile on my face (mostly!) because I knew that it was workout #10 AND I have a workout-free day to look forward to tomorrow!!
A day of rest sounds fantabulous right about now...
Anyways, here are my logs:
Saturday's Food
Pre-run:
low carb monster (20)
Breakfast:
slimfast cappuchino (180)
yogurt (60)
with a banana sliced up inside it- YUM!

Snack:
1 oz lowfat cheese stick (60)
Lunch:

sugar-free orange jello (5)

and one homemade tortilla chip from preservice at work (5)
Dinner-ish meal:
2 pears (130)
1 slice of an orange (10)
1.5 heads
of iceburg lettuce with light italian dressing on top (40)
1 oz cheddar cheese stick (110)
large bite of Brian's veggie burrito (25)
and two of his tortilla chips (10)
boba smoothie!! (350)

TOTAL= 1,335 calories
Saturday's Workout (#10!!!)
and #136 this year!
7 mile loop near my house
1/4 mile walk warm down
stretching (and LOTS of it!)

55 oz (total during & after workout)
75 oz during day
TOTAL= 130 oz
So I weigh in tomorrow morning and I am going to pray really hard to my made-up weight loss saint (I am still thinking of her name!) Patron Saint... (fill in blank). I am not religious at all, but I believe in my weight loss lady up there.

Can you say a little prayer to Patron Saint of Chafed Thighs for me too? I worked real hard, but I am sure terrified of that scale this week. I will seriously be hoping you make your big goal of 90% tomorrow. Gives me something better to think about than my own number LOL! Good job with the exercise, but where exactly did you eat REAL food today girl? I am going to have to come out there and cook for you after all!

Running in the heat with a smile, I love it!!! Big hugs for your 10th kick butt workout, that is a HUGE accomplishment. I'm stepping up for another blitz the week before my weigh in and you are firing me up as usual!! I am Catholic and promise to come up with a name for you on a Saint because there is one for about everything!!! There WILL be one for health and maybe even around weight loss, who knows!! I hope you enjoy every second of your day off, you deseerve it!

Did i read that correctly... 1 and a half heads of lettuce?? haha, I'm that girl too, I'll eat an entire bag of salad :). 10 workouts done and done! I know how you feel about the heat slowing you down, great job pushing through it. I can't wait to hear about your weigh in, good luck! I'm sending my prayers to the Patron Saint of weight loss for you :)
