I am a 22 year old college student. I joined DS in October 2007 and started working toward my goal of a 71 pound weight loss. I achieved my goal in July 2008, with a total loss of 80 pounds. I am now working on maintaing my weight long term. I am super excited to be able to share my long, hard, weight loss journey with others. =) My motto (found on a receipt from a sushi place): "Eat well, Live well, be happy ;)"

hehe I am eating baby food because I don't really like the texture of fruit. I find it really hard to get myself to actually fruit/veggies so I am always looking for new ways to slip them into my diet---egg w/ veggies in them, banana smoothies, and recently baby food. :) Thanks for the bfast suggestion. Next time I go grocery shopping I'll have to pick up some of those foods.

better late than never.. the fellowship alone will not keep you safe it is by working with others and our constant contact with our higher power (who I choose to call God) that we have a daily repreve.

From Sept 2006- October 2007, I gained over 70 pounds. I joined DS in October '07 and lost 13 pounds by the end of the year. I got serious about it at the beginning of this January and finally reached my goal in late June/early July. I am currently working on continually maintaining my now 80 pound weight loss.
I was a talented competitive swimmer since age 9. At 20 I decided I was over it and was completely burned out. 11 years no breaks. Once I stopped, I gained over 70 pounds. Nowdays, I am a workout maniac! :) I do a LOT of running, stairmaster, and weight lifting, with occasional swimming and elliptical.
I have been with my boyfriend for over two years, and we are very happy. But we both are always looking to improve and strengthen what we have
