I am a 22 year old recent college grad. I joined DS in October 2007 and started working toward my goal of a 71 pound weight loss. I achieved my goal in July 2008, with a total loss of 80 pounds. I am now working on maintaing my weight long term. I am super excited to be able to share my long, hard, weight loss journey with others. =) My motto (found on a receipt from my favorite sushi place): "Eat well, Live well, be happy ;)"

From Sept 2006- October 2007, I gained over 70 pounds. I joined DS in October '07 and lost 13 pounds by the end of the year. I got serious about it at the beginning of this January and finally reached my goal in late June/early July. I am currently working on continually maintaining my now 80 pound weight loss.
I was a talented competitive swimmer since age 9. At 20 I decided I was over it and was completely burned out. 11 years no breaks. Once I stopped, I gained over 70 pounds. Nowdays, I am a workout maniac! :) I do a LOT of running, stairmaster, and weight lifting, with occasional swimming and elliptical.
I have been with my boyfriend for over two years, and we are very happy. But we both are always looking to improve and strengthen what we have
