Today is a great day, Woke up with 5 out of 10 in pain scale which is a bonus. After a coffee and my meds felt great.

55yrs young,involuntarily retired palliative care nurse, 16 yrs remission from BC.Now advanced bone mets. Trying to live passionately,positively. Love outdoors reading crystals @ music.Battling pain,meds,fatigue @ limited movement.Am single,live alone.Belief life is precious @ try to make the most of it.Have 2 kids,wonderful humans so am blessed. Some days are tough.

Stage 4 Lobular Tumor, fought drs for 12months as i knew something was wrong. needle biopsys all neg.Finally saw a plastic surgeon and asked him to remove breast. he helped me get to a surgeon. Radical mastectomy followed.Chemo, radiotherapy the lot. Had 15 1/2yrs remission and lived my life to fullest. Diagnosed advanced bone metastases Aug 2006.very few symptoms just a feeling something was wrong. PLEASE listen to your instincts.They are usually right.
