I had my appointment today with the Endrochronologist but before we were picked up my Mother desides to start ragging on me because I had asked her to take my O2 canister off the filling machine and after two seconds of trying she said her usual response "I can't do this" and then I said that I knew I was going to get her stock answer. Then I told her it figured because she wants people to wait on her. I said that the reason why I was there was in case I needed help but I never got it. I said that I wished Nick was there because he kept trying witch was something she lacked and if she hadn't kept screaming at him which caused his strokes I would have the help I need. Then came the I figured I would gdet blamed for what happened to him. I then said oh now we have to have a pity party for Mom but you should know and I know you do that you don't scream at a person that had strokes and high blood pressure. She said that it was his fault because he didn't take care of himself anf I agreed but said that she didn't have to add to it. Well more words were exchanged like me saying you want everyone to take care of you and I'm not here to do that plus we're trying to get you to understand that you have to shoulder more responsibility and take some of this off of us. I said you act like a 5 year old and Dad isn't here to take care of everything anymore so you'll have to take some of it over or at least a little bit of it but you should try to help instead of telling people that your too old to do anything. I had told her before that I couldn't fight with people anymore, I had to try to keep my cool and if she heard me getting excited tell me to cool it. She forgot that and kept pushing my buttons then said do you want me to go along today or not. I told her it was her decision what she wanted to do. Then she starts with I'm going to sell the house and move somewhere else and the hell with you. I said that's fine because then I don't have to handle all the stuff tht has to be done to sell it I can look forward to the fact that I didn't have to worry because it was sold. I really mean that and I already told her to put in her will that Arlie and Linda should get the house then let them do what they want with it because I can't handle it and that would take the pressure off of my selling it. Then comes the line about stopping the argument and I said your still talking and keeping it going. All this time my abdomen was starting to hurt and getting worse so much so that I had trouble getting off the comode. The bus was supposed to come anytime after 7:30 so I was almost ready but I had to do things with rest periods in between and then I had to lay down because I felt like I was going to throw up. So very slowly it started to ease up and then the horn blew and we had to finish up the few things and go. We got on the bus and we were about to leave when my neighbor whom we saw with her dog Boots (she always squeals when she sees me and has to have me pet her and then she wanted Mom to pet her. She comes up to my face and I scratch her and all the time her body is moving back and forth in delight. She's a sweet dog. But getting back to the story Billie took Boots back in the house and then she came out again looking around and picking something up and I said to Mom " what's Billie Jean doing picking up garbadge?" Mom said she guessed so and then Billie called to the driver and said " I think you have a flat tire over here." The driver had several more to pick up for the trip and he said "oh no" then went out and sure enought it was flat. He came back in and got on the radio starting to notify the Transit Authority and finally got someone to answer him after 15 minutes of trying. They told him to hang there and asked him where he was. He told them and then they said they notified the truck that they have the equipment on to fix problems like flats and he told them he was in the middle of something and it would be about 2 hours before he could be down here. There was a big huge moan from everyone except me because I started to put the back down and the leg rests up so that I could relax and play solitare while I waited. Then we all called our doc's offices to see if they would see us and then some rides had to be picked up by other buses that our driver was supposed to pick up. There was a woman with a baby on the bus and she had two appts. for the baby so she was on the phone for at least an hour trying to fanagle something. At one point the other lady asked Mom if she could use the bathroom and then Mom let her in and then the bus driver asked to use it and then she had to let him in. The bus driver was checking the flat and pulled a screw out of it. He then brought it into the bus and showed us what had caused the flat and he said it was on our street. I said that it probably fell off a car or something. We have a street cleaner that comes around once a week weather permitting and then there was Halloween so I don't know how it got there but it ended up in his tire. The baby was alone with me two times and I was in the very back of the bus tied in and the baby was getting restless so I talked to him and told him to relax that I was here yet and he wasn't alone - try to relax your Mommy is outside as if the kid could understand what I was saying. Well the other lady mentioned that the mother who at this point was on the phone for over an hour should be in the bus looking after her baby and I agreed because he was getting to the point that he was about ready to start crying and making a fuss. So eventually his mother came back in bundled him up and took him out with her still talking on the cell phone. Still waiting for the mechanic's truck with the mechanic we talked and discussed where we had to go with the driver then the mother and baby came in and settled down. He told us that he was dropping them off first because the baby was late for it's two appointments and he had to bring her all the way back home then come back to get us. We said fine so finally I heard someone asking where State and Neola were and I said the guy is almost here and the driver jumped and said how do you know and I said I hear out street mentioned and the guy was asking which end of state street so he must be close then all of a sudden we heard a truck and he went up state but we were parked in the back of the house on Neola. The driver blew his horn and the mechanic stopped then backed up because he saw us. He had a compressor on this big truck because they have full size buses besides the smaller buses they use for Shared Ride or Pocono Pony. He jacked the bus up (the woman passenger asked them if we should get out and they said no so we stayed in) and then the compressor came on and my Mother said what's that and I told her what it was. He had a compressed lug nut remover on the truck so it took him a few minutes to off the old tire and replace it with a new one. Then down we went and we were off. I was uncomfortable sitting the way I had fixed the wheelchair so I set everything back to where it had been because the driver was speeding and the bus was shaking with every bump and swaying, etc. So the lady got to her doc's office which was an old house way off the main road (there was even a small creek we had to go over) and then in back of the house. Great place for a Halloween party outside because there was a weeping willow and it was sort of spooky. Then he dropped me and Mom off and we went in. I started to fill out papers and saw the doc then everyone went to lunch and this woman was there but she didn't speak english so I sort of motioned with my hands if there was a place to eat around there because we had lots of time to kill and I was going to buy us lunch. She said WaWa first then when I motioned more she said "NO". So I thanked her and said Felise Navidad, Si, etc. (I know a few words) and she first offered us Coffee. Then she offered us orange juice because this doc specializes in what I have plus diabetes and thyroid problems hence the orange juice. So we refused and then we sat there watching CNN and all they were talking about was the election which I didn't want to watch and was getting tired of hearing. (I was waiting to hear what each candidate was wearing and what store they went to, etc.) So finally the bus came back and we were on our way home. I had all the records with me that he needed and I thought that I hadn't brung them. I told her that I would fax the papers to her and she was happy about that but I am out of several colors of ink in the printer and I have to wait for it to come in the mail on Friday. I also have an appt. tomorrow and then after that it is lazy time again waiting for the phone call to schedule the appt. for the blood work. He's going to do another cortisol test or ACTH Test ( he called it the latter) but on Friday I will start faxing all the papers I got from the hospital. Then I have to wait a month to see him again and I still haven't gotten over Thursday yet and I don't think I'm going to because I'm not getting enough cortisone from the Adrenals in my body and this staying up and going to sleep then sleeping for 10 to 15 hours is the pits. I have a friend on here that is having horrible pain like I had before the pump and she is waiting to get one and is in the hospital getting kemo for the rest of the cancer cells. She is over in England and told me that they want to put her into a medical sleep again but she doesn't want that because all they have to do is put the pump inside her body. Then she has this old man that is playing with himself in front of her every day or evening and her son saw him yesterday and screamed at the nurse either you get rid of this old man or I'm calling the press and letting them know what goes on in here. So they took the man away but she is really tired of fighting this pain and everything else and they want to put it in but they are trying to get a place closer to her home (hospice) to do the refills. I also forgot that I had the phone numbers for Medtronics and I sent her an e-mail giving her the phone numbers and telling her that she could get information plus dvd's showing people with the pump and telling how it is inserted by surgery. At that point she was looking for another doc and the next day after I gave her the info and told her also that they could give her a name of a doc close to her that puts them in she sent me an e-mail thanking me several times and telling me because of the information I had given her she was my friend for life. So she found the doc but there was nothing being scheduled and they still didn't know who would refill the pump. Then one day she didn't take her medicine and her son Callum came home to find her sprawled in bed and a note beside her that said she was dying and other horrid things so Callum got upset and got his Dad and they got her to the hospital. When they took her to the hospital they immediately put her in a deep medical sleep but she was still moaning and moving (she was feeling the pain because he mind was still working and kept fighting the drugs because of the pain) and he got my e-mail to his mum then e-mailed me. I was surprised at what he was telling me and he also told me that his kidney's were bad because his mum had radiation when she was carrying him and he didn't want to tell her and upset her. Well then he and I messaged back and forth about his mum then Shaz got a p.c. from a nurse in the hospital and she sent me a message thanking me and telling me that Callum wouldn't tell her what he and I talked about and he had erased the messages. They had to wake her up because they had to do the chemo on her and then now that their done they told her that they want to put her bck in the deep medical sleep and she doesn't want it. I don't know the laws in England but I do know that it is socialized medicine over there and that's about it. I told her that if she wanted to get back at he bum pain specialist that lied to her get the press there. I also told that to Callum and that's where he picked that up when he was screaming at the nurse about the pervert. Well I had better go because I want to play some solitare and then it's night night because I have to be ready by 8:30 tommorow morning. LOL all of you and xoxoxoxo galed
You are always so busy!! The bus ride doesn't sound like so much fun but I'm glad you did make it for your appointment.
Take care,

I have to stop taking on too much and do the one day at a time thing now because it affects my blood pressure. The bus ride is like riding the crack the whip but instead of being jerked side to side it up and down. If I didn't have the seat belt on I would be on the ceiling of the bus when we hit some of those bumps. I was at it again today and was on another small bus that was just as bumpy as the rest. It was actually three buses because I had 2 places to go and the last bus had advertising all over it so you couldn't see out the windows and boy was it hard to ride in bump wise. Well hope you are alright and I have to do a journal entry because I haven't had that much sleep the last 2 nights. LOL and xoxoxoxox galed
