I'm very sore today and that was from falling 3 days ago. Tomorrow is driving lesson day and there is some hope about getting a new scooter. I have the OK from Medicare and such and tomorrow when I go to the drivers trainging class I can ask quetions there about which one is good and what I need. The place I go for the drivers training is a major rehab center for my area and they have what is called a "Wheelchair Clinic" and that is where I am going to find out what scooter is best for me and other important information. I am anxious to get the new one because NOW I can race all the people who have gotten a new scooter and want to have a race!! I wish my old scooter was fixable but the company where it came from is not longer in business in this country anyway. Everyone loves that scooter but like I have been saying "build a platform and you can sit it on it and look at it!" The whole thing is it has every bell and whistle a scooter can have but the major thing is it doesn't work. It is like a car the only thing it needs is a top and I could get it a Pennsylvania Disabled Plate and drive it around. I am filling out a placard form and such. There is also a phone number you can call so that you can get a card for the state police which explains that you are disabled and what you have that might affect your driving. It's supposed to help. It's gloomy and rainy today so that's another reason why I am so sore. I guess I am going to make this short and sweet because I want to lay down for awhile and rest. Hopefully Friday I will be seeing my husband and we're going to have a good anniversary celebration!!

I went to. Tha neurologist and told him about the fall and that I'm hurting especially in my legs and he asked me if I thought the pump was working yet. I think it is but I have to get it checked out by the pain specialist because he has the machine that will tell us that. Between that, the soreness, no scooter until July possibly and life in general everything is not good! My Mom wanted me to call a real estate agent because she wants to sell the house. All these years she's waited to do this and it basically comes down to the fact that she doesn't want me to leave! So let's see what's faster - the low income apt. Or her selling the house and getting what she's always wanted with a separate small apartment for me. I know of a house like that because I was in it. I told her that the first one floor whatever that becomes available big enough I was taking. So here goes the contest and I'm taking bets! Take care of yourself and I'll be yaking at you later!!
