Well my kids from ca. are planning to move to St LOuis some time in Oct. It will be interesting with 4 extra people but we will do it, They just can't find work and Grants unemployment
is coming very slow and things out there are really high. They want to start over. We will welcome them with open arms, and 2 grand daughters. Right now we have one of Don's borthers son and 2 kids staying here. I have knee surgery Oct 7We will just have to make this happen I will keep everyone posted. Hugs Carol

Hi. i meet hotdog alice on this site . We have enjoyed chating to each other, We flew in Sacramento, and hot dog alice lives about 15 mins from the airport. She meet us at the car rental place. Very nice. We could'nt talk long because we still had a 2 hour drive. I said I would call during the week and I did and we made plains of having lunch together before I flew home. It was a great lunch. It was fun and I plain on doing it again next year. Thanks Alice I enjoyed you very much. Hugs Carol

That is so nice to be able to meet someone fromDS. I hope someday I can meet some of the people I have met here. I am glad you had a nice visit and made it home safe.
Hi everyone , I'm back, The trip was good, We enjoyed our visit with our son in prison. He enjoyed it too. When I got home there was a letter from him thanking us for coming to see him. We had to help my other son and family move. Things are not going good for them. We helped what we could. The grandgirls were great, one graduated from high school. one from eighth grade , and the little one turned 5. Grant and Shelly and the girls are hving hard time making it money wise. I called to let him know we made it back ok and he told me he got laid off from his job. The jobs are bad people are getting laid off. In Merced there are houses up for sale or forclosed on. About 2 every block. They talked about moveing to St Louis. Now I have to get caught up on everything. Hugs Carol

Welcome home!! Glad you had a good trip. Im sorry to hear about your son getting laid off. I know how hard the economy is right now and it sucks. I hope he can find something soon. HUGS!!!

I am so glad that you had a wonderful visit with Tye...I'm sure that it meant the world to him....how thoughtful of him to send a thank you note....so sweet. I am so sorry about your other son's problems...my goodness, that is just awful. I am so sorry to hear that. Love and hugs.....
