Hey all,
I just recently found out that I have 2 degenerating disks in my neck as well as bone spurs. My back pain isn't improving either. I am very afraid I will end up in a wheel chair. I am not happy about the prospects. My doctor said I will have to have neck surgery eventually. I have horrible pain in my right arm from the pinched nerve in the neck. I don't mean to whine here, but at home it falls on deaf ears... Will work on being more positive next week, right now I'm going to feel bad.

I lost my Dad on July 29th, 2008. He was 87 yrs old but 2 yrs ago he was still playing golf. I am the youngest of 6 and taking it really hard. I lost my mother 10 yrs ago. I feel like an orphan. Just really sad right now.

You might ask about using Cymbalta as an off label use for the neck pain. I have DJD too and one herniated disk in my neck, and the med is great for the nerve pain!
