Thanks for writing me back. I will write more to you tonight. I have to go to my endo soon. I'll update you on how my graves tonight. Yes, my baby is sleeping through the night. She is also eating rice cereal. I'll write more in detail later.

Close Graves' Disease
I've had Graves Disease for about a year and a half now. My Doc did some blood work, asked me about the 65 pound weight loss I had over the three months since my last appointment and asked about my eyes bugging out of my head, I forgot to mention that my hands were shaking uncontrolably. They put me on Inderal because they were afraid I was going to die of Congestive Heart Failure and also put me on Methimazole 30 mg per day to control the Graves Disease.
Treatments
- Methimazole Working / Worked
- It took about 8 months to finally have my levels even off but after that I was fine.
- PTU Working / Worked
- I am on PTU now. I am pregnant and the Endo wanted me to go on PTU instead of Methmazole. It seems to be working. But I have only been on it for 5 weeks.
Close Pregnancy
I'm a FTM edd 3/10/08. For 19 years all of my doctors told me I would never be able to have kids. Guess they were wrong.

- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Kegel Exercise Working / Worked
- Helps me keep control when coughing.
Open Breakups & Divorce
I was with my husband for 19 years and am now going through a divorce. I am handling the divorce myself without a lawyer. I thought I had a great relationship until I realized my husband thought of me as his mother.

- My family never thought we should get married in the first place so they are very supportive of my decision to leave my husband.
Open Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1)
I first time mom. My son Ethan was born 3/18/08. We are still getting to know each other. Its alot harder to be a mother and run a business at the same time than I thought it would be.
Treatments
- Breast Feeding Working / Worked
- I am breast feeding my son. The doctors say he should be feeding 8 to 12 times a day. Ethan does not feed more than 7 to 8 times a day. He sleeps through the night unless I set an alarm to wake him for his feeding. During the day he wants to be attached to me constantly. He falls asleep within 10 minutes of latching on. I cant get him to stay awake for any feedings.
