The last few days I have felt defeated. I know the meds take time to work but the daily suffering is takiing it's toll on me.

Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have had chronic fatigue for at least 7 years although it may have started slowly a few years before that. I get tired very easily which makes it hard to take care of my family.

Hello, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about four years ago. I have never been treated for it and am beginning to wonder why my doctor hasn't done anything for me yet. I am still learing about it.

I didn't know this group was available until I saw that Gillsgirl, who is a friend, was part of this group. In the last seven years I lost a baby our house burned down, a neice and great neice drown in a canal in their car, my adoptive father died, a sister in law died, a brother in law died and my favorite horse died most recently. After our house burned down is when I started experiencing chronic fatigue

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHello, I have had depression for as long as I can remember. I was mis-diagnosed with bi polar two years ago and was on bipolar meds for two years. I have a new pdoc now who says I have never been bipolar and has me on the right medications.

- EMDR Not Working
- Wow, that really was a scary experience for me.
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- I took this for years and it worked on and off.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
Open Hypothyroidism
I have had problems with my thyroid since about 1992.
Treatments
- Armour Thyroid Working / Worked
- Just started this about a month ago. Hopefully it is working.
- Synthroid Not Working
- When on this med I still had many of the problems associated with hypothyroidism.
Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I quit smoking yeserday, (Mother's Day). I am happy about it but am struggling today. I really want to quit this time and don't even really want a cig.
Treatments
- Cold Turkey Not Working
- I quit for about nine days once. I was a wreck for every second of that period of time.
- Commit Lozenge Not Working
- The taste of the losenge is horrible. Gag me
- Nicotine Patch Not Working
- Made my skin sore and I still wanted to smoke
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- that is what I took when I quit for nine days
- Nicotine Gum Somewhat Helpful
- I tried this but it made me sick to my stomach
- Nicotine Patch Working / Worked
- So far this is helping.
