I have recently moved from my home town to another city 3 hours away, I work in retail and live alone with 4 cats and a dog. I have a 22 year old daughter who lives 2 hours away. My brother and his family live near that is why I moved here. I lost both parents within 9 months of each other and decided that I needed to make a new start in a new state and city.

There are several GA meetings in Reno, every day. If you don't particularly like one, perhaps you could try another. You would always be welcomed there, no matter what. Also, it might turn out to be a good place to meet new people, and make new friends. And it's all free!! Hugs

Close Gambling Addiction & Recovery
I moved to reno in feb. of this year I have an addictive personality and have had trouble with drugs, now it is gambling. I win then I lose. For some reason I continue to want to self destruct. I have had lost of support and my family has bailed me out before now I am not asking for bail out I want to do it myself but with their support not financial help. I have very few friends here and they all have families, my best friend lives 3 hours away and my daughter lives 2 hours away.

- Gamblers Anonymous Working / Worked
- I felt like it was helping but I didn't stick with it and here I am.
