I'm still getting used to how to navigate Daily Strength. I see now that it was Jewel who wrote the message to which I replied, but then I see too that you've also been dealing with a lot, so guess the message could apply to you too, Birgitta. Guess at this point I could say that I'm a cervical cancer survivor for 21 years. Also had a recurrence, but I'm still kickin'. God bless.

Welcome to this community! I hope you find the support you need. Don't turn this inward on yourself. You are lovable and PRECIOUS goods. God made you, Birgitta, and He doesn't make junk. Hold your head up high. You'll be fine. I know you don't feel this way now, but give it time. Be gentle with yourself.

- Colposcopy Too Soon to Tell
- I have had two colposcopies since receiving abnormal pap results. Thus far, my specialist is still monitoring the HPV. I have been told that my body will fight the virus off within two years, but still no luck. I was also told that I only had the high-risk strain that causes cervical cnacer. However, I am now displaying early symptoms of the low-risk variety - genital warts.
