      I graduated from college in June 2008 and with a degree in Visual Journalism. I'm been struggling with anxiety and depression since at least 2000. That's the specific time that I can remember any sort of anxiety attack. My attacks have gotten a lot worse and more frequent the last couple of years. I have recently started taking Paxil and seeing a psychologist.

      Good job...Glad that you are back. I have to say that dieting is the hardest challange that I have yet to conquer. I'm good for the first few days and then I fall of the wagon. I really have to get into shape though. I just got engaged this sunday and the pictures look aweful! I got to keep working at it. Good luck and I'll talk to you later.

      Paxil Too Soon to Tell
      I've only been taking Paxil for about a month and so far I don't think it's doing anything... It makes me very thirsty.

      Celexa Not Working
      Took Celexa in high school and it wasnt that great. It took away my personality and I was so blah and boring.

      I recently became lactose intolerant. Not a fun thing to figure out! I love dairy products and it's been a huge adjustment to have little to no dairy.

      Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
      Lactaid Not Working
      I took Lactaid pills and they made me violently ill! However, I do use 100% Lactose-Free milk, not the Lactaid brand though...
      Lactose-Free Diet Working / Worked
      I am slowly learning how much of which dairy products that I can have. It's a continual leaning experience. Depending on how close I am to my period my reaction to dairy can sometimes be worse. :(

      Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
      I recently became Lactose-Intolerant and this has helped me to eat less fattening foods (cheese, ice cream, etc.)

      I am trying to not eat as much and therefore getting used to what are correct portion sizes
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      I have been going to the gym at least once a week and hope to increase that to 3-4 times a week.
    • Open Insomnia

      I have a hard time getting to sleep and then staying asleep. If I fall asleep and then wake up again I can usually fall back asleep pretty easily because I'm groggy. The getting to sleep part is the problem, plus, who likes to be woken up all the time at night?

      Meditation Somewhat Helpful
      I'm trying this, but not sure how well it works yet.
      Reading Somewhat Helpful
      Usually helps me to fall asleep but sometimes the book gets interesting and then I'm up!
