They say ignorance is bliss,

and i believe this to be true.

Because you see happiness in kids,

and you see it through and through.

They know no evil of the world,

as they run around and play.

They know not of all the bad things,

happening day by day.

They know nothing of the people,

who threaten their very lives.

They know nothing of the terrible things,

people do to others with knives.

They know nothing of what life is like,

once they get out on their own.

They care nothing about the things in life,

just playing and their ice cream cone.
