I have had 4 dates in the last two weeks for my surgery but the final date listed (so far) is JUly 3rd at 7:30am. I have been so disappointed that it kept being put off but maybe it was for the best. I have been out of work the last two weeks as I was suppose to have surgery last week so my brother Paul from Texas came up to spend with me when I get out of the hospital. He is going home July 1st because he has jury duty when he goes back and to change his ticket was going to cost him another $600 which we can't afford. I gave him some money toward his plane ticket because he said this is the first time he came up here broke. i love him to death. He was here the day he came into town then he has been with my brother Frank who is on vacation this week and he is coming back here tomorrow and heading out to another brothers house saturday and sunday then back here till tuesday. So as to the out of work I called them this week and they scheduled me to work on monday and wednesday night. I don't have to do anything special the day before except have liquids all day and not eat or drink past midnight. I can take enough water to take some meds in the morning. I will be 3 nights in the hospital and celebrating july 4th there. I hope I am doing the right thing. I just cannot take my weight anymore i have been pigging out the last two weeks especially with my brother Paul around. he cannot get fried clams with the bellies down in texas so he has them a couple of times while he is here so I indulge also. He needs to lose weight too i worry about him. Ihad all my blood work and chest xray done this week but I forgot to have my ekg done so I'm giong back on tuesday to have that done. I think I am ready with all th efood I need. I am switching to lactaid milk as they say sometimes you become lactose intolerant after the surgery. My sister is coming down on July 7th to be with me from New Hampshire. bye for now!!
