You are not alone. We are all with you. If ou ever need any support or any kind of help please do not hesitate. I completely understand what you are going through and you will need alot of prayers and hugs to go through I am praying for you. When ever you feel down just close your for few minutes and pray for the strength and courage you will be allright there is nothing wrong with letting your children play and you take a short nap because you need it and I am sure your children are trained to do as you tell them to. Good luck and love to you and your children.

      • Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

I have moderate chronic fatigue and find it very frustrating when everyone around me is relatively healthy. I want to do more with my two children but don't feel up to it. Rest usually helps but not always.

        Treatments

        Reiki Too Soon to Tell
I do Reiki on myself and find it very empowering to feel the heat in my hands.
        Yoga Working / Worked
Helps a lot with stress, flexibility and empowerment (i.e. ability to exercise)
        Positive Thinking Working / Worked
Hasn't helped completely with energy but helps with depression and long-term healing. Panicking due to negative thinking had a huge impact on my health so I am lucky to finally be able to think positively!
      • Close War in Iraq

Just want a little communication on this issue. I am Canadian, we have troops in Afghanistan - I agree with peacekeepers but not fighting - it will never end because the Taliban really, really believe in their cause and have nothing to lose. The Iraqi's are getting killed like crazy, they are also dying from cancer from the depleted uranium warheads dropped on their sovereign land.

      • Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

I have had IBS since my early 20s when I had an interesting/emotional relationship along with some spicy food!

        Treatments

        Acidophilus Working / Worked
Helps quite a lot, especially for dysbiosis.
Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
Seems to help to avoid wheat.
        Psyllium Working / Worked
        Not Metamucil, real psyllium.
      • Open Physical & Emotional Abuse

Verbal abuse and lack of help by my husband causing me a lot of stress and chronic fatigue.

        Treatments

        Abuse Counseling Somewhat Helpful
Helps but presents only one option (leaving) which is not always much better due to custody issues and certainty of escalation.
        Art Somewhat Helpful
        Leave Considering
Big side-effect - things escalate when women leave abusive men. Other big one is custody issues...
        Psychotherapy Working / Worked
        Helpful.
      • Open Anxiety

I have had some anxiety all my life but more since my father died and I got chronic fatigue. Adrenal fatigue makes one more prone to anxiety and almost all my anxiety is related to health anxiety.

        Treatments

        Acupuncture Working / Worked
        Breathing Exercises Working / Worked
Dr. Weil's exercises (in for four, hold for seven and out through the mouth for eight) help. So does Buteyko (sp?) breathing - out more than in basically.
        Positive Thinking Working / Worked
Have to really work at this one but it is really the only way. Louise Hay's work is the best and Dr. Wayne Dyer. So is listening to my inner voice which keeps telling me everything is okay - if I listen.
St. John\'s Wort Working / Worked
      • Open Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

IC/bladder infections that seem to flare at the same time as IBS.

      • Open Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

I have very mild PCOS, only diagnosed at age 45! I knew it as a teenager. One doctor said well you had children so you couldn't have it. An endocrinologist said since I didn't have hair all over my chest I couldn't have it. I have hypoglycemia - which the gyn who confirmed my diagnosis said is not related!

        Treatments

        Progesterone Cream Working / Worked
Helping with fibrocystic breasts, depression, perimenopause.
        Vitex Working / Worked
        The best! Regulates my periods.
      • Open Asthma
        Type: Childhood Asthma

My son has mild asthma and I am concerned about the side effects of his medication.

        Treatments

        Flovent Working / Worked
Works, but again concerned about the affect of the steroids.
        QVAR Working / Worked
Not bad, but takes a while to work. Seems like the steroids are affecting him, not in a good way (hair growth).
      • Open Hypochondria

I struggle with hypochondria since having chronic fatigue, since my father passed away and since being diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse (mild).

        Treatments

        Rescue Remedy Working / Worked
        Helps quite a bit.
