I am 43 yrs old and live in Massachusetts I had the gastric bypass surgery in Oct 2007 and have lost 105 lbs and am feeling great. In Novemeber 2008 my 26 yr old son had a sinus infection that went to his brain and from that day on my whole world has changed. I have been in a hospital everyday since 11-11-08 by his side helping him recover. God has really touched him and I in so many ways. We were only given a 2% chance of him ever waking and look at him now he has come a long way and yet he has a long journey ahead of him I pray God continues to heal him and use him to give Praise and Glory. I also have a 23 yr old daughter who just gave birth to my first grandchild Logan raymond. he truy is a blessing from above. I love them both so much. On 9-26-09 my beautiful grandson Logan passed away unexpectedly at daycare. I struggle daily to understand, my heart is torn I miss him dearly- They say it was SIDS Lord please bless my daughter and I for we are hurting

I ask the Lord to give you, your son, your daughter strength to face each day that is before you, comfort in feeling His presence wrapped around you all like a handmade quilt and joy in remembering the wonderful memeories ya'll have of your precious grandson. I praise you for being able to put together such a wonderful slide show memorializing your grandson. I ask God to give you all peace in life, even though it will take a while to go through the grief process. I also ask that God give you some peace about the grief you feel as it relates to your son, knowing he has to go through his own grief process over what his life is now compared to before. All things are possible through Christ and hold onto Psalm 3:5 which says,
I lie down and sleep,
I awake because the Lord sustains me.
I life this prayer up through God's Holy, Wonderful and Precious Son's name, Jesus Christ. Amen

My son 26yrs old had a sinus infection that went to his brain causing an abcess and TBI- I need support I am having a hard time
My son suffered an aquired brain injury from a sinus infection He is able to drink liquids from a straw but not able to eat or swallow anything thicker than puree He has a hard time getting it to the back of his throst to swallow He speech therapist says she thinks it's an iniation but Im not sure She has exhausted all her thoughts on what to do I need help and advice he needs to eat Any advice would be greatly appreciated
