Hello Everyone;
After months of feeling horrible I am back. I come and go but haven't journaled for a while. My arm is fixed and they finally got a roaring fistula in my arm. It works great!! Charley and I had to go to the clinic and train for it because we had only used the cathater in the past. We do real well with it now. LOL he says he doesn't like pokeing me but I wonder!! I was useing my oxygen quite a bit for a while during the day some, but mostly at night. Thank God I have weaned myself off of that and am trying to slowly wean myself off these pain pills for my hip. That's a little bit harder then I thought it would be.
Thanksgiving was good. We went to Charley's brothers place and had turkey and the fixings that go along with it. I think we stayed for 2 hours and we were back home again. It was just enough as far as I"m concerned. The holidays are ok but we never make a big thing of them anymore. Maybe if my family were closer it would be different. No kids No mess!!
Well this is kind of like starting over for me on here. I am going to try to journal as often as I can. I hope everyone enjoyed thier Thanksgiving and wish you happy holidays to the ones ahead.
Love To All, :) Sue
Good Monday Morning;
I guess I over did it yesterday. Charley and I went to his brothers and had a great meal. Ham Mashed potatoes, bread and corn. Oh yes and strawberry shortcake for desert. I had to walk up about 5 steps....with Charley's help of course and I had a great time while I was there. When we got home my hip was killing me!! I had once again over did it. Thats the thing though, We think we're feeling better and then get all active.....and then BOOM it kicks us back on our butts. I think I need to go back and lie down for a while. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Love and Kisses, :) Sue

Hi Everyone;
I got together enough money to have my brother flown out here for a month the first week of September. My kids and sister-in-law have chipped in to help pay for his plane ticket. It has been a bad month for the whole family. It started out with my fathe-in-law having to have the veins cleaned out in his groin and legs because of a blockage. He was going in to have his surgery on Monday. Then I fell on Saturday night snd broke my hip,lol get this!! The next day my mother-law fell Sunday night and broke her pelivis. All three of us were in the hospital at the same time. My mother-in-law went home first, then my father-in-law went home and I ended uip staying in that draedful hospital for five days. I think the rod they put in is from the top of my hip to my knee. They gave me lots of pain pills....thank Goodness, a wheel chair and a walker. I hope this all means there are good things in the future for the three ove over the rest of this year !! Chaleu has been very good to me....he's a blessing. He fixes my breakfast and lunch before he goes to work and then I heat my lucnh up. We have beeen making dinners or he brings home fast food for us to eat. I guess tomorrow we will be able to go shopping and will use my chair while he pushes the cart.
As for my son Charlie...he has finally gone to court and has gotten total custody of Tabitha and Everett. Thier mom wants to give up her rights because she can't afford to pay child support. Piss poor reason to give up your kids and i"m not so sure the court will allow this to happen. They are very strict here about child support.
Well I certainly hope everyone is staing well. Have a wonderful Sunday, Much Loves and Hugs,xoxo\

What a carry on, well thats the three things over with then, they say things happen in threes!! You must be in so much pain, I am so sorry for you. Glad Charley is being so helpful.
Good n ews about your son and the children, Im so pleased hes got custody,its certainly a poor reason to give up your kids, but so good that Charlie has got them now. You must feel so much better about that. I am sure she will have to pay towards them, she would in this country.
Thinking of you. Love and hugs.xxx

Glad you enjoyed yourself, we all make that mistake dont we? We feel ok at the time and then we suffer later.
Hope you can get plenty of rest, wound like you dont have much choice.
Glad to hear from you though. xxx

Hi Sue. I've been stuck inside the past few days with my disability acting up and I can relate to the overdoing it. And yes it is so very true that we get active and then get knocked down on our butts. I know when I get feeling a little better I will once again find it hard to have the right balance of rest and activity. But I will keep trying. (((hugs))) Patricia
