I have made some wonderful friends on DS. I'm a grandmother of 2. My daughter and oldest granddaughter (16) live in FL. I miss them. I like music and watching the food channel(Although I don't cook too much anymore) Hopefully I will again. I also like the oldies and I like to sing. I'm married to a very nice guy but he kind of has a hard time understanding all of this. But he tries. I also take care of my 91 year old mom who lives with me.

Hi Sue, Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner but I have really been sick.I got a virus and it attached my stomach with and infection.They took me off every single medication I was on for a month.I was bed ridding for for three weeks.I lost 20lbs.Then of course there is the parkinsons which is getting worse..I have to use a walker pretty much all the time.And to make things worse my computer blew up smoke and all. Don't have the funds to buy a new at this time.So I am using mom's when I'm here on the weekends.How are things going with you?How is your mom doing?I hope everything is ok..Give me a call sometime soon. I still have my phone but I can't make long distant phone call going out. But can receive them.Hope to talk soon..It would be nice to here your voice..Love always Tim

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI am now taking Zoloft & Abilify low dose of both and they are helping with the depression and the anxiety. I am also taking low dose of seroquel which is helping me sleep

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed as bi polar in 2001. I am more having a bad time with anxiety but I went back onto the abilify only a smaller does and zoloft and I am doing better . So far no bad side efects.

My mom is 90 and she came to live with us. She is still pretty sharp but I can't leave her alone. I love her very much, but I can't go anywhere and feel like I am in a prison sometimes. Anyone else have these feelings?
Open High Blood Pressure
I have high blood pressure and meds aren't bringing it down to where it shud be. I might have to see a cardologist. It might have to do with my thyroid or my meds.
Open Hypothyroidism
I have an underactive thyroid with nodules. I had them tested and they are benign but I think something is still not right. My hair is falling out like crazy and I think this might be why. The blood tests say my levels are ok. Something is jus not right

- no side effects. Seems to keep my levels where they shud be
Open Anxiety
I have had anxiety all my life. Now I have it especially in the morning when I get up. It has really gotten bad and I am very sick with it. I am trying to keep myself out of the hospital. I am on a new med that has helped me to sleep better but makes me feel very disoriented during the day. The serequel has started to settle down in my system and I am on abilify & zoloft which are now helping well.

Open Arnold-Chiari Malformation
My granddaughter has Arnold-Chiari Malformation and has had 2 brain surgeries when she was a baby. She is 15 now and doing well except she is Bi-Polar rapid cycling and ADHD. She takes meds for them. She also had a stomach surgery caused by a symptom of the Arnold-Chiari Mal.
