      Over 5 years ago I has my first boil, had it lanced and swore I would never go through that again. I have been having these infections for over 5 years now. Recently I went to the ER b/c I had 5 or 6 over the course of 2 wks and ended up with a really bad one in my knee. As soon as the ER Dr look at my infection, he said it was MRSA. Something that I have lived with for a while and was just now being told that is what I have.
