    • Interests

I love to read true life stories of surviving. They are encouraging to me. Shipwrecks on foreign islands, dealing with the natives, wars, journalists during war time, being lost and survivng with help from all around. They push me to deal with all my health and mental complications. If they can survive, so can I. I love listening to Celtic music. I love to play my Morrowind III game on the computer. I also love growing closer to my husband and us banding together to deal with my day to day struggles.

      From redheadedgranny July 19

I have known several people who have had Arrthmyia and gone to the hospital and had their heart Shocked to get the rhythm back to normal, has your doctor not suggested this?

    • Hug

      From Teeberrie May 19

Thanks so much for the prayer. I'll take all the prayer I can get. Slowly but surely I am healing. Its hard loosing a child, but I have to have faith that God will take care of me and bring me through this tough time. God doesn't make any mistakes and He does everything for a reason. We don't always understand at the time, but eventually He will reveal to us "why". I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Life isn't fair. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

    • Close Fibromyalgia

I was diagnosed with IBS around the age of 22. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Lupus at the age of 25. I was diagnosed with Raynaud's when I was 34. I will be 39 this month and have experienced alot. I am newly remarried. My husband has suffered from two brain tumors. The most recent only last summer. This one has left him with seizures. So, no matter how I am feeling or how good I was sleeping I am on call 24/7. I really don't mind though. I live for a good challenge.

      Treatments

      Ultram Somewhat Helpful
Was alergic to it, severe itching.
      Metoprolol Somewhat Helpful
Been diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope. Metoprolol was prescribed to help keep me from fainting. It now drops my blood pressure too much at times and I still have the irregular heartbeats. I still have dizzy spells but have not passed out. Not too sure just how much it is doing for me.
    • Close Arrhythmias

Have passed out since childhood. Wasn't worked up for it until 2007. This started the tests. I had passed out on a sidewalk and ended up with a concussion. Wore two heart monitors. Began to recognize the skipped heartbeats and the fast heartbeats. It is hard to breath when my heart skips and become extremely shaky when it is too fast. The doctors are frustrated in trying to treat me. Have been diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic syncope. It is a miscommunication between the heart and brain.
