  Thank you for your reply. I have my appointment tomorrow and will post in my journal what happens. I know I have to have the lap, its just what to do after. My mom had to havea hysterectomy at 33 due to cancer so I feel like my hour glass is running out sometime.

  this is called a pain pump. go to tamethepain.com, and you can read all about this. I hope this was helpful to you. also I have DDD, and they have never offered me that option, I just take handfuls off pain meds, and have for 9 yrs now. anyhow, I will be praying for your mother, and you as well, for strength to endure what must be, JC
