I am 34 married with two boys, 4 and 20 months. Work in advertising. Love cycling and running. Currently training to do a triathlon next year. I was diagnosed with CML in April 2007. Am on Gleevac and recently recieved a news of a 2 log drop in my BCR/ABL scores for the first 3 months of treatment, so it's going alright.

Close Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
I am 34 years old, married with 2 boys 4 and 20 months. I was diagnosed in April 2007.
Treatments
- Gleevec Working / Worked
- I hve been on it for 4 and a half months. I've had a full haemotological response and at my first stage BCR?ABL tests at 3 months had achieved a 2 log drop from 107% to 8% so things are going well
- Hydroxurea Working / Worked
- On this for a short while before I transferred to Gleevac
