I am a teacher, married 38 years and have two daughters and a son. My son has two dui convictions for hitting and injuring two people. Thank God the victims are doing well, but he was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He has already served 7 months in jail. Our family is heartbroken over this and we hope to find support from all of you.

Close Families of Prisoners
My son was sentenced to prison and I have alot of questions. I am in need of support and guidance.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- Have had therapy for anxiety disorder and take medication for depression.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- It only helps temporarily and sometimes makes it worse because I realize it won't alleviate the pain.
- Writing Not Working
- I use an art journal which distracts me, but not much else.
