      I've had 'highs' and 'lows' since late teens, too many hospitalisations to reflect upon....only dx Nov 07.......

      Treatments

      Depakote Not Working
      1500mg .... worked a little too well, stopped my overly social butterfly antics ... but resulted in a very flat mood ... I felt like 'I' had left the building... zombifictation
      Lamictal Working / Worked
      200mg am and 200mg pm..... I think this is a fantastic med for the depressive side of BP
      Lithium Not Working
      1200 mg.....Suicidal depression and horrendous mixed episodes.... plus physical heebie jeebies... just couldn't tolerate the side effects
      Lunesta Working / Worked
      sometimes yes.... sometimes no...
      Risperdal Working / Worked
      2mg..... helps keep me grounded
      Seroquel Working / Worked
      100mg.... seems to work well with the risperidone...
      Valium Working / Worked
      10mg can be a godsend or useless.... stupid pills........
