I saw the consultant today and I have lost 4lbs lol. Well I know I am slightly hyper - so meds have been adjusted yet again and we will see what the difference is then.

I've gone thru the radioactive iodine for my thyroid. It's been about 4 yrs. I go up and down in weight and my meds.never seem to stay adjusted. It does feel like a yoyo. I'm also in menopause, so who knows if that's some of the weight gain. What dosage are you on? I'm here if you need to talk. Hugs... Sara

How long was it before they put you on thyroxin after RAI Susan?
Also what was your TSH level if you can remember at the time.
I'm feeling the Hypo symptoms and my TSH has gone from under 0.03 to .79 in 2 weeks.
I'm curious to know.

Sorry for not replying but other medical situations have taken over. I am now on 50 mgms thyroxine and doing good I am stable and my weight is stable so ok at present. Thanks for the interest how are people doing??
