No worries, I have been away as well. I was disillusioned after reading several posts on the health care reform board. I read many nasty remarks and comments and this left a bad taste in my mouth. Now that I am over it, I am back.

How old is your daughter? My daughter is almost 12yo, and we aren't sure what she has, but MS was one that I have considered. Currently she is having PT for a tight muscle and tight hip joint. So, we could always be thinking JuvRA again. Or just residue from the bacterias she was treated for. Kymberli

Close Graves' Disease
I have Graves and have been taken off the meds 4 weeks ago. My level is back up and I am seeing the consultant next Weds 31st Oct 07 - I have opted to have the radioactive treatment has anyone had it and what should I expect?

- Carbimazole Working / Worked
- My treatment (blocking treatment) worked but isn't long term. I should have only been on meds for 1yr and ended up being on it for 2yrs - my consultant is now doing what I asked him to do 6 months ago. I had no side effects apart from my weight yo yoing up and down, putting on 3 kilos and then losing it so always having to buy/wear smaller larger clothing.
- Methimazole Working / Worked
Close Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
My partner has EDS, we think, his sister and her two daughters do. However the consultant who initially saw him doesn't believe in EDS.
