Close Eczema
Recently diagnosed with hand eczema @ 35 yrs old! It just came up out of nowhere. From everything I have read about it on the internet, I'm really hoping the diagnosis is wrong, and this junk will just go away.
Treatments
- Aloe Vera Somewhat Helpful
- seemed to soothe it a bit, and help with the itch.
- Eucerin Somewhat Helpful
- helped cut down on the amount of peeling I have.
- Evening Primrose Oil Considering
- Does it help? I've heard it helps with acne and hot flashes, too. Where do you get the stuff and is it very costly?
- Hydrocortisone Not Working
- seemed to help at first, but it could be because I had a prednisone injection at the same time I used it. After the injection wore off (7 days), it stung very badly when I put on the OTC cream
- Triamcinolone Topical Too Soon to Tell
- I've been using it for 2 or 3 days after a second prednisone shot. My doctor advised me to wait until the shot calmed the skin on my palms down before attempting the cream. He felt it would be too painful to use before that.
Close Fibromyalgia
I've had fibro for 8 yrs now. First DX was Mono (for the 5th time in my life!) I was bedridden for about 6 months, the pain was so severe that I could only shuffle my feet to try to walk, and I couldn't stand for anyone to touch me. Fatigue was so bad that I could barely lift my fork. 8 yrs later, I still have flare ups, but water exercise helps with pain, fatigue, and even my mood.

- Adderall Working / Worked
- Works great for concentration and memory.
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with sore muscles temporarily
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- Helps with muscle aches, and headaches. Makes me to sleepy to drive.
- Cymbalta Not Working
- only worked for depression and anxiety, didn't touch the fibro pain or fatigue
- Heat Not Working
- been there, done that, no help at all.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- WOW! It worked. Unfortunately, after gaining 13lbs in 1 1/2 months and sever compulsive eating, my miracle drug had to go.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- how could it not help! Side effects... don't worry, you will regain conciousness!
- Neurontin Not Working
- 900mg per day. Not only did it not help, I was walking and falling into things constantly.
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- Well, it's not Percocet or Morphine, but it helps on very mild flare ups
