Wow, I can't hardly believe I am two years out and 1 year of maitaining a costant weight (well almost...i have gained a few pounds but still) overall very happy with my outcome. My first impulse was to look for that quick fix, but I know why I am gaining weight! I am eating too much junk and exercising too little! Very simple. Everyone faces similar challenges. I am like everyone else! Honestly, I keep thinking I will change tomorrow, but the truth is, action needs to be started now! Not tomorrow!
SO, hopefully if you are having similar challenges you will consider a couple of things before looking for the easy fix. First, go back to the rules of the pouch. Drink 20 minutes before eating. Don't drink with meals. Chew food. Exercise daily...at least 30 minutes a day! Be honest about what you are eating and work towards maintaining a healthy diet. Know your base metabolic rate and use it to help you find a healthy goal to daily caloric intake. Finally, be honest with yourself and if you need help ask for it!
Things like stomphyx are just enabling us to continue to practice our old habits. I am not saying that no one should ever have a revision, but I am saying that before you have one, try everything again. It should be once again, a surgery of last resort, not first impulse.
