- jury is still out but it seems okay when I'm not flaring
- Elocon Working / Worked
- love it b/c easy to rub in and works well on the face
- Hydrocortisone Working / Worked
- yeah to kill the itch at 3.0% definitely better in ointment than cream
Close Sensory Integration Disorder
as you see from my profile that my 5 yo was diagnosed with PDD at 4 and 9mos in April 2007 and he began OT August 2007 and after the eval. the OT felt that his main problem was sensory overall. The sensory was throwing off his gross/fine motor skills tremendously b/c his body was "hypersenstive" We just thought it was ok that he didn't want to walk barefoot, touch sand with his feet,wear long sleeves in the summer, wear shades year round, some sounds too loud unless he initiated them.
Treatments
- Brushing Therapy Working / Worked
- loved it esp. the 1st time his therapist did it you could see the calmness just "drop" on him....he went just limp spaghetti on us
