I wanted to add my support to your goal of healing your past. I think it's great you recognize the need to do this. At some point we all have something in our lives we need to overcome. Please know this is a goal that takes a lot of time, patience and learning. I don't know what you're healing from but I would like to suggest that you forgive yourself, realize that you are human and you don't have to carry the burden of other peoples dysfunction. Love yourself then love others. Be honest with yourself even when you're not honest with others. The truth is not always black and white and it doesn't always make sense. Know that men will come and go so don't get too stuck to just one yet. Have fun and enjoy being young; it doesn't last forever...don't rush it. And last but not least; To thine own self be true. I have just passed on to you the lessons I had to learn the hard way and wished someone had told me at your age. Be encouraged and be blessed my sista.
