That's life? Your boyfriend hasn't had grief to go through concerning loss of a pet! Nor has he had a cancer scare yet either. Ignore him and think about you at this time! You can't replace the pet that you lost but you can give a new puppy a loving home. You can replace a boyfriend that doesn't understand how you feel or act like he cares! Turn to GOD for help. HE always understands!!!! I will say a prayer for you! You will be alright! Jengie

I know you'll come through surgery with flying colors. It's perfectly fine to be scared about it and you need some support other than your bf. He doesn't understand how our pets become our soul mates and best friends. They are family and to be grieved over. Yours in particular. Did you know that Papillons and Border collies are in the top ten for intelligence in dog ratings. The Border collie is No.1. You lost a very smart, loving companion. Find another one ASAP and give him extra cuddles for the one you lost. My prayers are with you for your upcoming surgery. Think positive hon. Nancy

so sorry for your loss. I also had to put my cocker spaniel down in June. It has been five months and I still cry over my loss. There is no time limit as to when you should be over this! We never get over the loss of our loved ones. I have 3 other dogs, but that did not make it any easier. I know how you feel. You need to be with friends who will support you during this most difficult time. I also have a nodule on my thyroid. Surgery is always scary, but everything will be fine. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
