EXPRESSIVE GLANCES
a hurt heart allows tears to show
down that beautiful face they flow..
burning within very slowly
lookng at memories sadly..
there has been love and also strife
but we have seen miracles in life..
a return from the one we desire
it lifts our hearts with fire..
startled with a gasp we gaze
thinking reality or just a haze?
we begin just staring
a smile brings flutters amazing..
we glance deep into the expression
is that the sparkle of adoration?
that twinkle we had been so used to
has returned to say I love you..
more weeping from the eyes of sadness
new tears of innermost happiness..
